Buy TexPoint Licenses

You can download a trial version of TexPoint and use it for 30 days. After that, you must buy a license number. The license numbers are individual, and allow a single user to use TexPoint on several machines (Windows or Mac).

1. Select the type of license you need:

   	Academic users	USD 30 each	Users associated with a university.
   	Non-academic users	USD 45 each	Users not associated with a university.
   	Upgrade	USD 15 each	Users who bought a TexPoint license for older versions.
   	Site license	Enter agreed total in payment form	Single payment for more than 5 users. Read more about site licenses.



2. Make a payment using Visa or MasterCard. Paypal is our credit card processor. You will not need to open a Paypal account. Send us email if you cannot pay by credit card.
   
3. You should receive a receipt email from Paypal and an email containing the license number from us. If you do not get the email within a couple of hours, check your Spam folder and send us email.
4. Using a license number you can register TexPoint for use by a single user on 3 machines. For each machine:
   • Install TexPoint, start PowerPoint, then open the menus "TexPoint" and then "Registration"
   • Enter in the first field of the form the license number that was included in the email you received from us when you bought your license.
   • Press "Go online to get registration key", and you should see a web browser window open to our registration site. This step will transmit to the registration site the license number and a machine identifier including your Windows/Mac user name and a unique hardware ID. The web page should compute and show your registration key.
   • Copy the registration key from the web page and paste it into the second box on the form, and press "Record registration key
